Such an image is nothing unusual in northern Norway, but the tourists enjoy it a lot. Once you've seen enough reindeer it starts being anoying as the animals don't react when the cars come. If nothing else helps and they don't want to go away, try barking.

Looks like a family of reindeer. Don't bark or honk; just enjoy!!
I understand reindeer crossing the road can be annoying for those who live there, but I would like to have that view if I was driving around... :-)
If I were a tourist, I would definitely enjoy this scene. Is that a bell around the neck of the front reindeer?
That's a lot of reindeer! As a 'virtual' tourist I am enjoying the scene. Thanks for posting. :)
Yes, it's a bell, someone told me, the leading reindeer is having such a bell. The reindeer are herd animals, so it's normal that they flock together. And it's really something very usuall, you have to be very unlucky not to see it! The photo was taken on the way to Hammerfest.
Hello from another voice in Belgrade! I have browsed your blog, and like what I see. I'll be back. Drop in to my site in Belgrade!
Kind of like the moose I am weaving through in my area, but they are not wearing bells! (it is hunting season now, so look out moose!)
All the best
This is wonderful! Thanks for sharing!
