Sunset at Gjesværstappan (40)

I was going with my friends to the North Cape for the opening of the film festival, we were a bit late. However, I am really glad that we had a delay, otherwise this photo wouldn't exist. We still managed to get there on time.

Church (35)

This is the church in Honninsgvåg. It is the only building in the whole region Finnmark which wasn't destroyed during the WWII. Everything else was burnt down as the German army was retreating. People lived in this church for quite some time after the war, they even had a small bakery there!

Not completely in focus, but I had to hurry up, as the boat was turning and just a few seconds later the light from the boat was directly opposite me.

This is the a-bit-less-famous-than-the-North-Cape-peninsula, Knivskjelodden. Photo taken last year from North Cape plateau on 7.09. at 8:40 p.m.

Evening (23)

This cloud made it impossible to see the sunset on Monday. To see the sunset (and also the midnight sun) you have to climb up a mountain.

Midnight sun (17)

This photo was taken in July last year around 1 am. To see the midnight sun in H. you have to climb up a mountain. It is possible to see it from May till the end of July.

In the evening (8)

This is what Honningsåg looks like in the evening. Even though the time of the midnight sun is already over this year, it still doesn't get completely dark.
