This photo was taken in Nordvågen, in one of the four fishing villages of the island, very close to Honningsvåg.

The summer is over (11)

The summer is definitely over. However, today it was quite sunny again (the photo was taken a few days ago).

North Cape cliff (1)

This is North Cape, the place visited by roughly 200 000 tourists every year. At the top of the 307 metres high cliff you can see the globe, which is the symbol of the place. The weather is incredibly good. Such visibility is not the case every day! The norm is rain (or snow, depending on the season; however, the latter can fall at any time of the year), strong wind and thick fog.
